While back home in Boston my family is under many feet of snow, down here in New Orleans, spring has arrived. With warm weather comes cool sweet treats, here’s a classic that will help keep the calories and cost down too!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 2 bananas
- 1 food processor
- vanilla or cool brew (optional)
As you continue blending the bananas and milk, feel free to add more milk. You want to make sure it isn’t liquified. When you get the consistency to a good point add in a little vanilla or if you like coffee ice cream try something like Cool Brew (a concentrated, cold filtered, gourmet coffee extract.)
Throw some toppings on if you’d like and enjoy! Once your bananas are frozen the whole process shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes. Certainly cheaper, easier and healthier than going to the shops for ice cream or even frozen yogurt!
